Schrack Technik Romania opens €15 million logistics centre near Bucharest

Schrack Technik Romania, the local subsidiary of the Austrian group Schrack Technik, a producer and distributor in the electrical installations and equipment market, recently inaugurated a logistics centre for electrical materials, following a €15 million investment.

Located in Domnești, Ilfov County, the new centre covers a total area of 9,000 sqm, comprising 5,500 sqm of warehouse space and 3,500 sqm of offices.

This makes it the largest logistics centre for electrical materials in the country, designed to support the company's accelerated growth that counts over 4,800 active clients.

Schrack Technik also plans a second phase of development, which will add an additional 8,500 sqm of logistics space, with the goal of turning it into a regional supply hub for countries surrounding Romania.

LPP opens robotised e-commerce warehouse in Romania

LPP Logistics has opened an automated e-commerce warehouse near Bucharest with a surface area of 65,000 sqm. The facility's fleet of nearly 1,100 robots will enable processing of over 80,000 orders per day, strengthening LPP Group's logistics infrastructure in Southeast Europe. The centre has been operational since late October and will prepare online orders for Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, and Hungary.

Nuclearelectrica pours first concrete for Unit 1 refurbishment

Nuclearelectrica has completed the first continuous concrete pour for the permanent structures of the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 refurbishment project. The operation used approximately 3,470 cubic metres of concrete for the foundation, equivalent to about 380 concrete mixer trucks.
