French Revolution opens new store in Timpuri Noi Square

French Revolution, the Romanian confectionery brand specializing in artisanal éclairs, has opened its sixth store in Bucharest at Timpuri Noi Square, the office complex owned by Vastint Romania.

The brand, which began in 2013 with a focus on corporate clients, has since grown to include six locations in the city, a franchise in Ireland, and a team of 90 employees. In 2024, the company recorded a turnover of €5.25 million.

The new location at Timpuri Noi Square is strategically placed within an office hub, aligning with French Revolution's expansion plans.

”We hope the new space will become a key attraction for both employees working in the complex and visiting guests, offering not only delicious desserts and specialty coffee, but also a lively atmosphere ideal for socializing,” said George Panaitescu, Co-Founder and Co-Owner French Revolution.

Sorin Macoveiu, Commercial Manager at Vastint Romania, added: "The new store will complement the present facilities, that include a fitness center, a beauty clinic, a bank, a convenience store, a restaurant and a food market."

Macoveiu also highlighted the upcoming second phase of Timpuri Noi Square, which is currently under construction and will feature new retail spaces and a food hall concept called New Tales, a first for the local market.

This new phase will add a leasable area of 60,000 sqm, doubling the available office and commercial spaces within the complex to 112,000 sqm.

The completion of this project, scheduled for Q4 2026, will expand Vastint Romania's portfolio to 155,000 sqm of leasable office space.
