Cluj Business Campus to undergo €500,000 upgrade this year

Cluj Business Campus (CBC), an urban real estate and workplace experience project in Cluj-Napoca, is entering a new development phase with investments of almost €500,000 allocated in 2026.

The campus is built on the One Minute City philosophy, where services for work and daily life are integrated within a maximum one-minute walk from the office. CBC supports an increasingly relevant direction for the office market: the office as an experience, where companies can build their organisational culture and employees have real reasons to come to the office.

One of the most important projects to be completed in 2026 is the modernisation of the CBC 1 building and transformation of common spaces into a hospitality concept applied to the office environment, developed together with architect Cosmin Todor. The project brings a warmer, more elegant atmosphere closer to the experience of a hotel or urban club to the office area, while maintaining the functionality necessary for an office building.

"In 2026, the investments allocated for Cluj Business Campus go towards consolidating the campus as a space where the office becomes a complete experience," says Vlad Buzoianu, CEO Cluj Business Campus. "Companies use the office as part of their organisational culture, retention, wellbeing and employer branding strategy, and employees need real reasons to return to the office consistently."

This year's investments include projects dedicated to technical infrastructure and safety, including updating remote meter reading systems and emergency lighting, modernising interior spaces and interventions to increase campus operation quality. The campus operates on the One Minute City philosophy, with essential services integrated near the office, including restaurant, specialty coffee shop, fitness centre, medical services, physiotherapy, event spaces, rooftop, private park, sports facilities, and international school and kindergarten.
