Mondo Development takes over management of Nexus in Bucharest

Business Forum
The Nexus office campus in Bucharest's Expoziției area, formerly known as @expo, has entered a new stage of development following its acquisition by Equora Capital and Synergy Group. The campus is now managed by Mondo Development, a real estate firm with a portfolio across several European markets.

Alessa Sin has been appointed Leasing Director at Mondo Development, taking responsibility for the leasing strategy and overall commercial development of the campus. She brings more than 15 years of real estate experience spanning tenant representation and advisory roles.

"Nexus represents an opportunity for companies looking for modern, sustainable office space with flexible leasing solutions and attractive commercial terms. Our ambition is to build on the campus's existing strengths, while introducing a more proactive and responsive management approach. We want to offer businesses not only high-quality offices, but also an environment where people can connect, interact and feel part of a strong community," said Alessa Sin, Leasing Director at Mondo Development in Romania.

Nexus comprises three Class A office buildings with approximately 49,000 sqm of office and commercial space and 737 underground parking spaces. Completed in 2023, the campus holds a BREEAM Outstanding certification and offers spaces with raised floors, radiant ceilings, HVAC systems and LED lighting. Amenities include outdoor relaxation areas, approximately 1,550 sqm of green spaces, around 250 bicycle spaces and 24 electric vehicle charging stations. Flexible configurations range from offices of approximately 300 to 400 sqm to corporate headquarters exceeding 5,000 sqm.

The campus benefits from a tram stop directly in front, the 1 Mai metro station approximately five minutes away and road connections to Henri Coandă International Airport. The planned Expoziției metro station on Line M6, expected in 2028, is set to further improve connectivity. "Our priority is to ensure that Nexus delivers not only high-quality office space, but also a reliable and responsive management experience. Nexus stands for connection, and this is exactly what we want to build here: stronger connections between companies, employees, the buildings and the city," added Sin.
