OMV Petrom records lower hydrocarbon production in Q2 2025

OMV Petrom recorded a hydrocarbon production of 102,200 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day in Q2 2025, a decrease of almost 5% compared to Q1 2025 and 7% lower than the same period last year.

Crude oil and condensate production stood at 48,400 boe/day (down 3.3% from Q1 2025), while natural gas production was 53,800 boe/day (down 6.2%). 

In Q2 2025, the total hydrocarbon sales volume amounted to 96,900 boe/day, 5% lower than in Q1.

Crude oil and condensate sales decreased by almost 4.4% to 50,000 boe/day, and natural gas sales fell by 5.8% to 47,000 boe/day. 

In contrast, total refined product sales increased by 11.6% compared to the first quarter of the year, reaching 1.34 million tons.

Gas sales to third parties amounted to 8.07 TWh (down 21.3%).

Net electricity production at the Brazi Power Plant totaled 0.61 TWh, a 50% decrease compared to the January-March 2025 period.
