AJ Brand acquires solar project from Eximprod

Business Forum
AJ Brand, the Romanian developer of renewable energy projects, has completed the acquisition of the Gebeleizis 6.4 MW operational solar photovoltaic project from Eximprod.

The transaction was facilitated by Nyerges & Partners, who provided sell-side legal advice across all key phases, including legal support throughout the buyer legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, and securing the FDI approval on behalf of AJ Brand.

The project benefited from funding under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This divestment aligns with Eximprod's strategy to strengthen its role as an integrated developer, managing projects from concept and financing through to commissioning and transfer.

Dragoș Vasile, Board Member at Eximprod, said: "The sale of this operational project represents a significant milestone in our strategy to deliver mature, investment-ready renewable assets".

Eximprod Group specializes in the production, and deployment of solutions for electrical grids, automation, and renewable energy.
