After launching in Brasov in April, Uber Green's extension introduces a fleet of environmentally friendly vehicles in Craiova, Constanța, Iași, and Sibiu, including car models such as Toyota Prius, Hyundai Ioniq, Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID.3, and more.

Since the service's launch six years ago in Bucharest, Uber Green has been embraced by environmentally conscious riders across Romania. While celebrating this milestone, Uber continues to expand its footprint to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation options. To date, over 1.3 million riders have used Uber Green in Romania, and its vehicles have traveled more than 4.7 million kilometers, contributing to reduced emissions and healthier urban spaces.
As the service expands into Craiova, Constanța, Iași, and Sibiu, Uber Green's presence now covers a diverse range of cities, each with its unique contribution to Romania's environmental goals. This expansion helps ease congestion, reduce air pollution, and provide cleaner, more accessible transportation options for both residents and visitors alike.
With an average estimated time of arrival (ETA) of just 7 minutes, Uber Green continues to provide efficient and reliable mobility services for riders. Whether commuting, running errands, or exploring the city, Uber Green offers a smooth and environmentally conscious ride across the country, now available in eight cities: Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Brașov, Craiova, Constanța, Iași, and Sibiu.
