Vista Bank to service Eurobank's loan portfolio in Romania

Business Forum
Vista Bank Romania has agreed to service the loan portfolio of Eurobank's former subsidiary in Romania Bancpost, effective from March 31.

The portfolio encompasses over 8,000 individual and SME clients, with a total value exceeding €500 million.

PwC and David & Baias provided tax and legal advisory services for the deal.

This move is part of Vista Bank's strategy to strengthen its position in the Romanian market. The bank has been operating in Romania since 1998, offering a full suite of products and services through its network of 35 branches and 5 business centers to both local and international clients.

In recent years, Vista Bank has pursued an expansion strategy, acquiring 100% of Crédit Agricole Romania in September 2021, and signing agreements to acquire Alpha Leasing (Romania) and Alpha Insurance Brokerage (Romania) in March 2025.
