Romcim, a CRH company, acquires TehnoWorld

Romcim, a CRH company, acquired TehnoWorld, a leading provider of water infrastructure solutions in Romania. This acquisition supports Romcim's ambition to be a leading end-to-end solutions provider for the Romanian construction industry. By acquiring TehnoWorld, a leading player in water infrastructure and utilities conveyance solutions for gas, telecom and electricity applications, Romcim extends and enhances its portfolio offering to better meet Romania's critical infrastructure and complex non-residential needs.

With this acquisition, Romcim will operate the TehnoWorld manufacturing facility in the North-East of Romania, in Baia, Suceava county, which includes four production lines and best-in-class equipment producing conveyance systems, at international standards, with 290 employees. Operating under the brand name, TehnoWorld, a CRH company, the company will continue to integrate in-house logistics, design and engineering services with world-class technology, maintaining its strong focus on providing high-quality solutions for the domestic market, as well as for 20 export markets.
