Pepco Romania names new Head of Operations

Pepco Romania retailer has announced the appointment of Raul Ciungu Iordate as the new Head of Operations. With over 16 years of experience in the retail industry, he has extensive knowledge in operations management, human resources, compliance, and project management.

Iordate is replacing Bogdan Grigoriu, who has been promoted to Regional Operations Director for Pepco South Europe. In his new position, Grigoriu will oversee Pepco's operations in seven countries, including Romania. 

Iordate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing Pepco Romania's operational processes, ensuring efficient store functionality, and improving workflow processes. He will also be in charge of implementing the company's development and expansion strategies at the local level, contributing to performance growth and the achievement of organizational goals.

”I am confident that through teamwork and strategic vision, we will continue to strengthen Pepco's position in the Romanian market and beyond,” said Iordate.

With 475 stores open nationwide, Romania is the company's second-largest market after Poland.
