Sigma Software Group opens first delivery hub in Romania

Global IT service provider Sigma Software Group has announced the opening of its first engineering hub in Romania, marking a significant expansion of its European presence.

The new hub will enable Sigma Software to enhance its relationships with EU-based companies and further develop its partnership network within the CEE .

This expansion brings the company's total number of offices to over 40, spread across more than 20 countries worldwide.

“Global customers require a global presence. Today, Romania is one of the top emerging tech countries. With a business-friendly environment and a dynamic tech ecosystem, Romania is the perfect place for Sigma Software to expand our engineering capabilities,” says Alyona Nesterenko, Head of Sigma Software OptiCo.

Sigma Software plans to hire over 100 professionals in Romania in 2025-2026. The company also aims to expand its engineering operations, considering that the country has more than 200,000 people employed in the tech sector.
