Deloitte names new leader for its tech hub in Romania

Deloitte Technology Delivery Center announces the appointment of Emilia Dumitrescu as Managing Director, effective June 2026. She has also been promoted to Deloitte Partner and succeeds Marcus Williamson, Partner, Deloitte UK, upon the completion of his three-and-a-half-year mandate.

With over 20 years of experience in data, analytics and delivery center operations, Dumitrescu has been part of the center since its launch in Romania in 2016. Most recently, she served as Director, leading the Customer and Engineering, AI & Data teams. 

"This is a meaningful moment for Deloitte Technology Delivery Center as we mark ten years of activity in Romania. Looking ahead, we will continue to invest in our teams and accelerate the adoption of AI and emerging technologies," said Emilia Dumitrescu, Partner and Managing Director of Deloitte Technology Delivery Center. She will lead the center alongside a senior management team including Alina Chiţu (Enterprise Technology and Performance & Finance Transformation), Andrei-Daniel Ionescu (Engineering, AI & Data and Human Capital), and Bogdan Ungureanu (Customer).

Deloitte Technology Delivery Center provides IT services to Deloitte clients across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Africa. With 1,000 professionals, the center is part of Deloitte's global network of delivery centers. Its service catalogue spans Engineering; AI & Data, Customer, Enterprise Technology & Performance, Finance Transformation and Human Capital, enabling end-to-end delivery across transformation programmes.

OMV Petrom advances with green hydrogen project at Petrobrazi

OMV Petrom, the integrated energy producer in South-Eastern Europe, announces the delivery of the fourth and final module of the 20 MW electrolyser for green hydrogen production at the Petrobrazi refinery. The company has a capacity of 55 MW under development, through two projects: one of 20 MW and another of 35 MW.
