Arobs becomes first Romanian company certified for AI management

Business Forum
Arobs Transilvania Software has obtained the ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System certification, becoming the first company in Romania to complete this certification process.

The technology company, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), received the certification from Bureau Veritas.

ISO/IEC 42001 defines requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an AI management system for organizations that develop, provide, or use AI solutions. The standard helps companies address AI-specific risks while ensuring alignment with customer, partner, and regulator expectations.

"Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming core to the products and operations of companies, and the real differentiator will be the ability to govern it responsibly, in a scalable and predictable manner," stated Voicu Oprean, Founder and CEO of Arobs.

The certification was awarded following an audit process that assessed Arobs' AI governance framework, internal policies and processes, and risk management throughout the entire AI systems lifecycle. Claudia Stancu, Certification and Training Manager Romania at Bureau Veritas, noted that the audit highlighted a solid AI governance framework with clearly defined processes.
