DVI Production opens €40 million plant in Romania

DVI Production, the owner of the Fortem brand, a manufacturer of linear masonry elements, is opening a new factory in Iernut, Mureș County, which will have the largest production capacity in Europe, according to the company.

The investment in the new production unit of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) amounts to €40 million.

"The production capacity will be 2000 cubic meters of AAC/day, which represents the largest capacity in Europe," states Viorel Iacob, CEO of DVI Production. 

The factory in Iernut has a surface of more than 10,000 sqm.

The company has been operating on the local market since 2017.
