First cargo aircraft lands in Oradea Airport

Business Forum
Oradea Airport marked a major milestone with the landing of its first cargo aircraft, making it the only airport in Romania with a logistics terminal directly connected to both the runway and apron.

The terminal is part of CTParkOradeaCargoTerminal, designed to support efficient and modern cargo operations right next to the airport infrastructure.

The Airbus A321-200P2F, operated by Istanbul-based MNG Airlines, departed from Istanbul at 12:22 PM and landed in Oradea at 1:44 PM.

MNG Airlines serves destinations across Europe, Asia, and North America with a modern fleet of 12 aircraft — capable of handling a wide range of cargo types, from perishables and e-commerce to high-value goods and hazardous materials, all in compliance with international standards.

On May 7, Oradea welcomed the arrival of its first wide-body cargo aircraft, an Airbus A300-600RF, further enhancing its operational capabilities.
