ACI, based in Portugal, is a manufacturer of specialty materials for the wire and cable sectors, The transaction includes the company's four production facilities located in Mexico, Portugal, Romania, and Tunisia.

Jean-Marc Gilson, President and CEO of Westlake, said: "The combination of ACI with Westlake's existing compounding business will present an excellent strategic fit and opportunity to integrate with our HIP business.
