Chairry Design & Furniture contributes with furniture to Lagoon Park Bucharest

Business Forum
Chairry Design & Furniture, a company specializing in the segment of furniture solutions and complete interior design, completed earlier this month the VIP areas within the Lagoon Park Bucharest complex, the first artificial urban beach in Romania, built in the Northern part of the capital - and the only Public Access Lagoon (PAL) in Europe. The investment in the complex amounts to €33 million.

The project has already been inaugurated in mid-June by developer Forty Management as part of Central District Lagoon City, a mixed-use project that will include a Radisson Lagoon hotel, among others.

Chairry has provided outdoor landscaping products for approximately 11,000 square meters of sandy beach, including 700 tables and 25 VIP canopies.

"Working with such a dynamic player has been an opportunity to expand our expertise and knowledge, and diversify our services and project management capabilities. We are proud to contribute to the development of Lagoon Park Bucharest. This innovative project will bring significant benefits to the communities around the capital, but also to the local economy as a whole by attracting a new segment of tourists," said Raluca Dorobanțu, Managing Partner of Chairry Design & Furniture.

The patented Crystal Lagoons® technology, which allows for the construction and maintenance of cost- and energy-efficient artificial turquoise lagoons of unlimited size, was implemented for the first time in Central and Eastern Europe as part of this project.

In Bucharest and Ilfov, the construction market for hotels and leisure areas grew by more than 10% at the end of 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the monitoring platform HotelInvest*. Thus, the average investment for a square meter of pool landscaping varies between €700/sqm, reaching up to €1000/sqm for the premium segment.

Chairry Design & Furniture, a Romanian entrepreneurial company, has been operating on the market for over 20 years and specializes in interior design and furnishing, as well as in providing imported or locally produced furniture solutions for the HORECA, office, industrial, medical or educational sectors. In total, Chairry has so far imported more than 20,000 pieces of furniture and has furnished more than 50,000 square meters of interior spaces. Chairry has strategic partnerships with renowned international suppliers such as Balliu, Belta & Frajumar, or Zown by Maxchief, through which it provides high-quality, functional, comfortable, and durable furniture pieces that integrate the latest technologies and design trends.
