Romanian developer Iulius is investing €40 million in the expansion of Iulius Mall Suceava that will increase the leasable area of the project to 60,000 sqm.

The project will bring retail novelties on a 14,500 sqm area and entails the creation of additional space, as well as the reconfiguration and renovation of current areas of the shopping mall opened back in 2008.

In addition, the number of parking spaces will grow from 1,350 to more than 2,400, including 25 dual electric vehicle charging stations.  The expansion is slated for completion in H1 2025.

“The expansion will boost the regional destination status of the mall and draw more visitors and new businesses here, stimulating the local economy,” said Eduard Marcu, Shopping Center Manager of Iulius Mall Suceava.

The mall currently includes more than 170 stores and the biggest multiplex cinema in northern Romania.
