Speedwell Development has obtained the construction permits for the first 50 luxury villas in a new residential project in Corbeanca, near Bucharest, where it plans to invest €94 million.

The construction of the first homes is planned to start in early 2025. All in all, Speedwell's Glenwood Estate complex will include 209 villas.

“We are thrilled when local authorities understand the positive impact of our projects, as this support not only validates our efforts but also reflects our commitment to building a thriving community,” says Jan Demeyere, Architect and Co-founder of Speedwell Development.

The project's green private and public spaces will add up to 76,000 sqm, making up 54% of the total area.

At present, Speedwell's portfolio includes approximately 150,000 sqm of office and retail space, over 6,000 apartments, and 23,000 sqm of industrial space, with a total project value estimated at around €1.5 billion.
