Speedwell Development has announced the appointment of Yannick Van de Parre as Country Manager for Romania.

In his new role, Van de Parre will support Co-Founders Jan Demeyere and Didier Balcaen in the executive management of the developer.

He will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency across all projects and leading the local team as the company continues its growth in the region.

“This new structure allows us to move quickly and capitalize on strategic opportunities across the region,” said Balcaen.

Since joining Speedwell in 2021 as COO, Van de Parre has been instrumental in streamlining the design and execution of the company's projects and advancing the developer's ESG strategy.

With Van de Parre now overseeing the day-to-day operations in Romania, Demeyere and Balcaen will shift their focus to the company's commercial strategy, including land acquisitions, leasing, sales, and transactions of completed assets in Romania and Poland.

Speedwell has ongoing residential and mixed-use developments in Romania, while in Poland it is working on student accommodation and residential developments.
