Vlasceanu & Partners has advised Econergy on a €40.5 million project financing from UniCredit Bank for the development of an 87 MW photovoltaic project in Oradea, Romania.

The law firm assisted Econergy's Romanian SPV throughout the financing process, including issuing the project due diligence report, structuring the transaction, and reviewing and negotiating the financing package and related security arrangements.

"We appreciate the continued confidence placed in our firm by our client, who worked and continues to work with us for all Romanian related financing deals," the firm stated.

The project is now fully connected and operational, and the company is moving ahead with plans to integrate a 68 MW BESS on site.
