Franck Bagouet named new Managing Director of TotalEnergies Romania

TotalEnergies Marketing Romania has announced the appointment of Franck Bagouet as Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Romania and Managing Director Automotive Southeast Europe Hub TotalEnergies Marketing.

He succeeds Didier Grimault, who has taken on a new position within TotalEnergies.

"I am delighted to join this dynamic subsidiary and am confident that, alongside our talented team, we will strengthen existing partnerships and explore new market opportunities," said Bagouet. "I would like to thank Didier for the leadership and dedication demonstrated during his tenure as Managing Director. Safety will remain at the centre of our priorities. We will continue to respect our commitments in this area and ensure that all operations are carried out in strict compliance with the highest Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards."

This leadership transition marks a new stage for TotalEnergies Marketing Romania and the Southeast Europe Automotive Hub, strengthening the company's commitment to excellence, innovation and customer satisfaction.

Bagouet joined TotalEnergies in 1989 and has since held numerous key positions within the company, both in France and internationally, including Managing Director roles at TotalEnergies Marketing subsidiaries in Canada and the USA. He officially took up the position of Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Romania on December 1. Bagouet is 57 years old, married and has one daughter.
