Banca Transilvania Group has entered the exchange-traded fund market by launching the BT Index Romania ETF BET-TR, managed by BT Asset Management.

The ETF debuted on the BVB's regulated market, with trading under the ticker symbol BTBETRETF. It tracks the performance of the BET-TR index, which includes the most liquid companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and incorporates corporate events such as dividend reinvestment and capital increases. "Romania has courage, resources, and growing companies. BT Romania ETF is the story of a fund born from the belief that the country's potential can be transformed into opportunity," said Ömer Tetik, CEO of Banca Transilvania.

BT Capital Partners provides liquidity for the fund units, acting as Market Maker and Authorized Participant. The company is Romania's largest brokerage firm by trading volume for shares and bonds on the BVB.

The fund is open to all investors with no profile restrictions. It features a passive management strategy with low costs and dividend reinvestment. The management fee is 0.083% per month applied to average net assets, while the trading fee is 0.25% on sales and purchases. The fund benefits from dividend tax exemption.

Banca Transilvania has been listed on the BVB since 1997 and is the longest-standing issuer in the BET index since 2000. The bank serves over 6 million customers across Romania, Italy, and Moldova through more than 20 companies in its financial ecosystem.
