Romgaz names new Chairman of the Board of Directors

State-owned gas producer Romgaz has appointed Dumitru Chisăliță as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective April 16, according to a notification sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

This decision follows the General Shareholders' Meeting on April 14, 2025, during which two members of the Board of Directors were removed and two interim members were elected.

Chisăliță brings 30 years of experience in the energy sector to his new role and is the Founder of the Intelligent Energy Association.

In addition to the appointment of the new Chairman, Romgaz also approved the members of its Advisory Committees.

Nomination and Remuneration Committee: Răzvan Braslă (Chairman), Botond Balázs, and Dumitru Chisăliță.
Audit Committee: Marius Gabriel Nuț (Chairman), Cornel Benchea, and Răzvan Braslă.
Risk Management Committee: Botond Balázs (Chairman), Răzvan Braslă, and Marius Gabriel Nuț.
Strategy Committee: Cornel Benchea (Chairman), Dumitru Chisăliță, and Aristotel Marius Jude.
