Furniture giant IKEA has opened its first Plan and Order Point in Bucharest, located in the Orhideea area.

The new concept aims to bring IKEA closer to its customers, offering a dedicated space for inspiration, personalized solutions, and expert assistance in designing ideal living spaces, with a particular focus on kitchens and bedrooms.

Located within Vastint's Business Garden Bucharest complex, the point spans over 350 sqm.

The studio features a dedicated planning area, an inspirational home furnishing solutions area, and a display area showcasing 1400 items, including prominent kitchen and wardrobe examples. Additionally, more than 70 home accessories are available for immediate purchase.

Mihai Dinte-Pop, Manager Plan and Order Point IKEA Romania, said: “Through its accessible location, size and flexibility, we want to be closer to the people in the Capital and offer inspiration and expert advice so that customers can shop in the most convenient way for them. Beyond planning and inspiration, these locations also serve as an ideal hub for assisting people who live a distance from our current IKEA stores, whether they're looking to order a new sofa, wardrobe, or any other IKEA product”.

All standard IKEA services, including planning, interior design, delivery, measurements, kitchen installation, and furniture assembly, are available at the new Plan and Order Point.

IKEA's first Plan and Order Point in Romania was opened last year in Constanța.
