Scor picks Business Garden Bucharest for first Romanian office

Vastint Romania has signed a new leasing contract with Scor, one of the world's largest reinsurers, for its first office in Romania.

The French company will occupy 2,320 sqm at Business Garden Bucharest as it enters the Romanian market.

Scor offers reinsurance and insurance solutions to control and manage risk, generating premiums of €20.1 billion in 2024 and serving clients in more than 150 countries from its 35+ offices worldwide.

"Opening our first office in Romania is a meaningful step for Scor and a strategic investment in our long-term capabilities," said Andrei Romanescu, General Manager Scor Romania. "Romania stands out through its strong talent base, a fast-growing tech and data ecosystem, and a truly international, business-ready mindset."

Maria Badea, Senior Leasing Manager of Vastint Romania, added: "Today, the office is no longer only about space - it's about experience. At Business Garden Bucharest, we focus on creating a place that works operationally, supports culture, and helps companies attract and retain people."

The Centre-West area has become Bucharest's strongest office destination with approximately 629,000 sqm of total stock.
