World Class Romania, part of Vectr Holdings, has appointed Matei Filipidescu as CEO. He is replacing Kent Orrgren, who concluded his term as CEO after nine years.

Filipidescu will continue to serve as Deputy CEO of Vectr Holdings Romania, ensuring strategic alignment between the group's vision and the future development of the World Class Romania network. His mandate is to lead the transformation of World Class Romania into the next generation of health, fitness, and wellness destinations.

This new phase will focus on modernisation of the network, including major club refurbishments, the development of new flagship locations, the introduction of new formats, and an elevated member experience. "The objective is not only to expand the network, but to redefine the standard of health, fitness, and wellness services in Romania," the company stated.

With this evolution, World Class Romania will transform from a fitness network into a broader health, performance, and wellbeing platform, reinforcing its leadership position in the Romanian market.
