Kaufland reaches 193 hypermarkets in Romania

Kaufland has opened its fourth store in Pitești, expanding its national presence and reaching a network of 193 hypermarkets.

The new unit spans over 6,300 sqm, with a sales area of nearly 3,300 sqm. In addition, the store features over 1,300 sqm of photovoltaic panels on its roof to generate green energy and reduce CO2 emissions. It is also the first Kaufland store to include an outdoor children's playground, covering over 680 sqm.

Kaufland invested in modernizing the local infrastructure by developing 47 public parking spaces and upgrading road access.

The new location provides 233 parking spaces as well as 6 dedicated spaces for cyclists. The store also includes a commercial gallery with various shops and services.
