Scala Development secures €24 million in funding for resi project in Cluj

Romanian developer Scala Development, part of Ax Perpetuum group, has secured  RON 119 million (€24 million) from Libra Internet Bank for the development of the Scala Sopor residential complex in Cluj-Napoca.

The complex will feature 376 apartments. It will also integrate 4,100 sqm of commercial space, 460 underground parking spaces, and 2,500 sqm of green areas. 

The building adheres to nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Building) standards.

“The collaboration with Scala Development is a natural fit, in line with our strategy to finance projects relevant to the future of Romania's major cities,” stated Cristina Mahika-Voiconi, General Director of Libra Internet Bank.

The group's portfolio includes two completed residential projects with a total of 310 apartments, three ongoing projects, a commercial center, an industrial hall, and other real estate projects in various early stages.

Romanian developer Prima Development Group has started construction on phase two of the Prima Astera residential complex, the first high-end project in western Bucharest built to nZeb standards. Prima Development acquires new land plot in Bucharest

Prima Development Group has acquired a two-hectare plot adjacent to its new residential project Prima Solis, launched this summer. The transaction worth nearly €4 million will allow the expansion of the complex with approximately 700 apartments.
