Turism Felix signs Accor franchise deal, rebrands hotels

Turism Felix has announced a significant update to its 2025-2035 development strategy, focusing on its hotel portfolio by affiliating with Accor Group's ibis Styles brand.

This includes a franchise agreement with Accor to rebrand its International Hotel. The transition will be completed following the hotel's modernisation and refurbishment, which is scheduled for mid-2027.

Following the completion of the International Hotel's upgrade, Turism Felix plans to extend the ibis Styles franchise to its Termal and Nufărul hotels. 

The company said the partnership with Accor is expected to enhance the hotels' market visibility and access to global distribution channels.

Accor is present in over 110 countries, operating more than 5,700 properties and 10,000 food and beverage locations. The ibis Styles brand is part of the ibis family of brands and offers over 2,500 locations in 79 countries.
