Greek architects Bobotis+Bobotis officially enter Romania

Athens-based architecture firm Bobotis+Bobotis Architects has officially entered the Romanian market, marking a step in its international growth strategy. 

Following collaborations with local developers including One United Properties, Globalworth and Alesonor, Bobotis+Bobotis Architects is now establishing a dedicated presence in Romania.

Founded in Greece by Theofanis Bobotis, with Lukas Bobotis representing the second generation of the practice, the firm has built a reputation for creating modern and sustainable architecture that respects each location's identity while embracing innovation. "Our philosophy is that architecture must evolve alongside society - responding to changing needs, technologies, and environmental challenges," added Lukas Bobotis, Founding Partner. "Romania's openness to contemporary design and commitment to sustainability make it an ideal place for us to grow."

Bobotis+Bobotis Architects will collaborate with Romanian developers, real estate investors, and public institutions, focusing on large-scale urban regeneration, residential, and cultural projects. The firm's new presence in Bucharest will serve as a regional hub for its operations across Central and Eastern Europe.
