Premier Capital has reached a milestone with the opening of its 200th McDonald's restaurant across its European portfolio, located in Malta - the company's home country.

As McDonald's development partner in six markets (Malta, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania), Premier Capital has built local success stories for the world's most recognised restaurant brand, maintaining a balance between global McDonald's standards and authentic cultural connections.

"Opening our 200th restaurant is an achievement for Premier Capital and our shared journey. Together, we manage to offer our communities welcoming spaces where everyone is welcome. This moment reflects the positive impact our partnership has daily for customers, communities and our employees," said Arosha Wijemuni, Vice President - Business Unit Lead for Europe, Middle East and Africa, McDonald's Corporation.

Today, Premier Capital has a team of over 12,000 employees and serves more than 90 million customers annually. "We mark this achievement by celebrating not just the milestones we've reached over time, but especially the people who made them possible. In all our markets, we've grown at a sustained pace, adapted to changes and constantly found new ways to be close to customers and the communities we're part of. Progress has been built through consistency, ambition and confidence in the power of the team," added Melo Hili, Chairman and CEO Premier Capital.

The new restaurant is located in Central Business District, Malta, and represents the 10th McDonald's location on the island. The restaurant includes all customer-appreciated services: McDrive, McDelivery and Mobile Order & Pay. The new location has generated 50 new jobs, offering opportunities for both young people starting their careers and experienced professionals. In Romania, the network numbers 111 McDonald's restaurants, with 5 new restaurants opened in 2025. Premier Capital maintains strong development direction and estimates revenues of over €775 million for 2025, supported by network expansion and growing customer demand. The company plans to open 15 new restaurants in 2026.
