Norofert signs €500,000 biological solutions deal in US

Romanian agricultural solutions company Norofert has signed a commercial contract worth RON 2.1 million (€420,000) with a seed producer and multiplier in Wisconsin, US.

The six-month agreement covers the supply of biological solutions for seed treatment and vegetation applications. Products will be manufactured by Norofert's subsidiary Norofert Ag LLC in South Dakota, with solutions tailored for corn and soybean crops.

The contract includes seed treatment solutions applied before planting, as well as products for use during the vegetation period. All solutions are specifically adapted for corn and soybean cultivation requirements.

"Signing this contract marks a new strategic step in consolidating Norofert's presence in the US agricultural market and confirms the operational maturity of our Watertown, South Dakota unit," said Vlad Popescu, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Norofert. "The ability to deliver personalised biological solutions, adapted to each partner's requirements, represents a competitive advantage."

The agreement supports Norofert's international development strategy and accelerates the company's expansion of operations in the US through solutions dedicated to sustainable agriculture.
