Premier Energy to fully acquire cogeneration plant in Romania

Premier Energy has announced its plans to acquire the remaining 25% stake in True Energy Management for €3 million.

This strategic move will grant Premier Energy full ownership of the company, pending approval from the Committee for the Examination of Foreign Direct Investments. 

True Energy Management operates Premier Energy's cogeneration balancing plant in Făgăraș, Romania. 

The plant currently has an installed electricity generation capacity of 13.2 MW, and it is undergoing expansion to increase capacity to 19.9 MW. This expansion involves the purchase of two new engines, which are currently in the testing phase and expected to be fully operational within the next month. 

The acquisition is expected to enhance the company's operational capabilities and generation capacity in Romania, according to a notification submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
