Business Forum
A company from the PPC Romania group will construct a natural gas power plant with a capacity of approximately 100 MW on Valea Terovei, on the site of the former UCC - Uzina Cocso Chimică platform in Reșița.

The company recently acquired a 99,241 sqm plot of land in the city through a public auction for RON 5.6 million (€1.1 million).

"The private investment will generate substantial revenues for the local budget, with which we can support the regeneration and modernisation projects necessary for the development of our community," said Reșița Mayor Ioan Popa.

The announcement was made by Agenția de Dezvoltare Locală Reșița (ADLR), which played a key role alongside the municipality in creating the necessary framework for implementing this strategic project.
