Brașov-Ghimbav sees double passenger volumes in Q1 2025

During Q1 2025, the Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport saw a total of 56,897 passengers, more than double the figure versus the same period in 2024, according to the Brașov County Council.

According to statistics released by the Romanian Airport Association, Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport has risen to 9th place in the national passenger traffic rankings, with 19,855 passengers recorded in March.

On freight traffic, the airport near Brașov maintains 5th place among the 17 Romanian airports, with a total of 54.31 tonnes transported.

The airport has started operations in the summer of 2023.
