Hartmann Packaging buys plant in Romania

Hartmann Packaging has announced the purchase of the Romanian subsidiary of Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi, which specializes in the production of molded fiber packaging solutions.

The company owns a production facility in Tărtăşeşti, Dâmboviţa County. Aside from the local plant, Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi also owns manufacturing facilities in Denizli and Aksaray, Turkey.

According to a press release, this transaction aligns with Dentaş' strategic focus on its core markets.

“This marks a positive step forward for our employees, customers, and long-term strategic direction,” says Oğuz Abalıoğlu, representing the principal shareholder of Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi.

Torben Rosenkrantz-Theil, CEO of Hartmann Packaging, stated: “This acquisition is a strategic step in expanding our European footprint by adding production capacity and broadening our product range in key growth markets. Integrating Dentaş Romania's capabilities will enable us to better serve our customers and meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions.”
