Business Forum
Flanco, the local smart discounter for electronics and IT, has opened its first store in Cluj-Napoca, in the Artema Shopping Center.

This new store spans over 1,000 sqm and is a key part of Flanco's most extensive network development plan in the last six years, backed by an investment of around RON 20 million (€4 million).

Ovidiu Nicușan, Marketing Director at Flanco, said: "Cluj-Napoca is a significant and rapidly developing urban center with a dynamic demographic profile, receptive to technology and open to innovation – a very suitable audience for the smart discounter concept. Therefore, opening a store here was a natural step for us." He added, "This year, we are focusing on expanding into large cities and high-traffic commercial centers with extensive stores, over 1,000 sqm, to reflect the full potential of our new positioning."

In addition to the Cluj-Napoca opening, Flanco also completed the renovation of its Târgu Mureș store, located in Shopping City.

Flanco's network currently counts 160 stores across the country.
