Artesana secures Booster Capital investment for growth

Business Forum
Artesana, the Romanian artisanal dairy producer, has announced a strategic partnership with investment fund Booster Capital that marks the complete exit of ROCA Investments, which held a 20% stake in the company.

The joint plans for the coming years include consolidating Artesana's position in the local market, building a strong management team, and investing in a new artisanal cheese section, a project estimated at over €10 million.

International expansion is also a key objective. Beyond organic growth, Artesana's shareholders are open to strategic options involving other niche players in the Romanian dairy market.

Daniel Donici, Co-Founder of Artesana, said: “We want Artesana to remain a strong Romanian brand with local roots and an international vision. The medium to long-term alignment, the Booster team's experience in production and retail, and our shared values were decisive in choosing this partnership."

Artesana's founders will remain at the helm of the company, focusing on strategic development and expanding the brand regionally.

The company has over 2,500 points of sale nationwide and a diverse range of more than 30 dairy products.

For 2025, Artesana estimates revenues of €15 million.
