eMAG expects sales close to RON 1 billion for Black Friday

Romanian e-commerce giant eMAG is gearing up for its 15th annual Black Friday event on November 7, which the company expects to set new records for the online commerce industry.

Following a record-breaking 2024 edition, eMAG forecasts sales of RON 940 million (€184.7 million) this year, an increase of RON 44 million (€8.65 million) from the previous year.

Tudor Manea, CEO eMAG, said: "For Black Friday, eMAG is bringing at least 1.5 million offers at the lowest prices of the year."

Customers are expected to benefit from over 2.2 million special offers from eMAG and Marketplace sellers, with at least 1.5 million of these being at the best price of the year. 

The Black Friday offering includes an exceptionally wide range of products, with substantial stocks in popular categories such as 100,000 televisions, 600,000 small household appliances, and 400,000 smartphones and gadgets.
