Forte Partners starts new office project in Bucharest

Business Forum
Romanian developer Forte Partners has begun construction on the office component of U•Center 3, with a planned investment of €100 million.

This new phase will feature a 12,500 sqm office building, 1,700 sqm of retail space, and 200 apartments. The residential portion is slated to commence in 2026.

Geo Mărgescu, Co-founder and CEO at Forte Partners, said: "We decided to start U•Center 3 with the office component as we already have solid demand for office spaces. In the second half of this year, we will finalize the details of the residential component, with construction set to begin in the first part of next year."

U•Center 3 will incorporate all the features present in U•Center 2, including LEED and WELL Platinum certifications and 100% renewable energy sourcing.

The energy supply will be entirely electric, with no gas connection, and the building will comply with the nZEB standard. The developer is also aiming for GRESB and Access4you certifications.

The project completes the mixed-use development established in the first two phases, which included a strong retail component.

The first phase of U•Center was acquired by Pavăl Holding, the investment group controlled by the founders of Dedeman.
