Oasis Retail Development & Consulting has announced the completion of the third development phase of Prima Shopping Center, the largest retail park in the central-west region of Romania, which now covers 60,000 sqm.

The final project is expected to reach 80,000 sqm of leasable upon completion.

Looking ahead, the final phase will involve the construction of a mӧmax XXXLutz store, with building works scheduled to begin next year.

In a move to improve energy efficiency for its tenants, the group has also installed solar panels with a capacity of 800 kW, which has significantly lowered energy costs and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Kurt Wagner, Partner at Oasis Group, said: "Romania maintains strong economic fundamentals, and the retail sector continues to be one of the most attractive in real estate for investors. The Oasis Group has over 30 years of experience, having successfully developed over 1.5 million sqm of land."

The evolution of the shopping centre is also visible in its average daily traffic of 35,000 people, with increased figures over the weekend, added Klaus Reisenauer, Partner at Oasis Group.

Oasis Retail Development & Consulting has delivered over 100 projects in Romania over the past 30 years.
