BT has granted Globalworth financing of nearly €40 million for the development of the fourth office building within the Green Court complex in northern Bucharest.

The new building will integrate technologies and energy efficiency solutions, contributing to raising the standards of the office market in Bucharest. The project, whose construction began in Q4 2025, will add 16,500 sqm of office space, distributed across three underground levels, ground floor and 11 floors, with completion estimated for 2027.

Green Court is a complex of office buildings, certified LEED Platinum, with high standards of sustainability and energy efficiency. The ensemble comprises three completed buildings (A, B and C), with a total area of over 54,300 sqm. The entire ensemble is financed by BT, with the total amount being over €95 million.

"The new project aligns with our bank's direction to support responsible investments and developments with positive impact in the community," said Cosmin Călin, Senior Executive Director Large Companies, Structured Finance and Factoring at BT.

Mihai Zaharia, Head of Investments Romania and Group Capital Markets Director at Globalworth, noted that the expansion of the Green Court project reflects the natural evolution of an office ensemble that has already established itself as a landmark in the business area of northern Bucharest. Globalworth is the leader of the office market in Romania and one of the largest office investors in CEE, active in Romania and Poland.
