VGP inks new lease deals of 30,000 sqm in Romania

Business Forum
Pan-European real estate developer VGP is strengthening its Romanian footprint by securing two lease transactions with Ursus Breweries and ePiesa.

Ursus Breweries, Romania's largest beer producer, has leased a total of 22,000 sqm at VGP Park Brașov, comprising 15,000 sqm in Building C and a 7,000 sqm outdoor platform. The building, which spans 35,000 sqm, holds a Breeam Excellent certification and complies with the EU Taxonomy. The positioning of the park, offering 180,000 sqm of lettable space in total, will enable the brewer to optimise loading times and the flow from production to distribution.

Meanwhile, ePiesa, an online retailer of automotive parts and accessories in Romania, has selected the new VGP Park Bucharest 2 for its logistical expansion, starting with an 8,000 sqm leasable building. Located at the intersection of the A2 highway and the Bucharest Ring Road, the park features technical specifications including 12 m clear height, 7 t/sqm floor load capacity and heat pumps, and targets a Breeam Outstanding certification, along with compliance to the EU Taxonomy.

VGP Park Brașov serves as a logistic hub for regional production and distribution, while VGP Park Bucharest 2, with a development potential of over 114,000 sqm of logistics space, is optimised for urban distribution and connections to the Port of Constanța.

As of June 2025, the gross asset value of VGP, including 100% of the joint ventures, stood at €8.3 billion.
