IGD sells shopping centre in southern Romania

Business Forum
Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione (IGD) has sold the Winmarkt Crinul Nou shopping centre, located in Alexandria, southern Romania, to a private Romanian investor, for €3.3 million.

The project has a leasable area of 3,410 sqm and houses 31 stores.

This transaction marks another step in IGD's strategic disposal of non-core assets. Earlier this year, the company sold a shopping centre in Cluj-Napoca for €8.3 million.

Roberto Zoia, CEO and GM of IGD SIIQ, said: "The transaction we are announcing to the market today strengthens our confidence that the disposal program outlined in the business plan is progressing as planned."

IGD was advised by CBRE Romania and  law firm Dentons in the sale.
