Business Forum
Industrial developer VGP has started the construction on VGP Park Bucharest 2, a new industrial and logistics project with a leasable area of around 114,000 sqm.

The development is planned in three phases on a 227,000 sqm plot, with the first phase including three buildings totalling approximately 114,000 sqm of lettable space.

The first building spanning 32,979 sqm is already under construction, with completion expected in Q1 2026.

The buildings are being developed to high technical standards, featuring air heat pumps for efficient heating, a smart building management system, a clear height of at least 12 metres, and flooring that supports up to 7 tonnes/sqm.

Strategically situated at the intersection of the A2 motorway and the Bucharest Ring Road, the park will provide modern, sustainable, and flexible spaces for logistics, e-commerce, and urban distribution. All buildings will target BREEAM Outstanding certification.

With the new planned development, the company's portfolio is set to exceed 1 million sqm of leasable industrial spaces in Romania.
