ElectroPutere Mall expands to 62,000 sqm

Business Forum
French real estate group Catinvest has completed a 10,500 sqm extension of ElectroPutere Mall Craiova following a €22 million investment.

The expansion brings the mall's total area to approximately 62,000 sqm, making it the third largest shopping centre outside Bucharest.

The extension introduces two international anchor tenants to Craiova and Dolj County for the first time - Primark and Half Price, which will open their first regional stores at ElectroPutere Mall. The arrival of these brands reinforces the mall's position as a key retail destination in south-west Romania.

The project also includes expanded parking capacity, with ElectroPutere Parc now offering over 3,150 parking spaces. A new customer access point from Decebal Boulevard will improve accessibility and traffic flows.

With this extension, ElectroPutere Parc exceeds 110,000 sqm of total retail space, ranking among the top three retail destinations in Romania.

"This extension represents a strategic step in the evolution of ElectroPutere Parc and reflects our confidence in Craiova's potential as a regional retail hub," said Bertrand Catteau, CEO of Catinvest Group. "Our goal is to offer consumers a complete shopping experience, while providing our partners with a stable framework for growth."
