Simtel 9-month revenue jumps 88% on strong PV and BESS contracts

Business Forum
The Simtel Group recorded consolidated operating revenues of RON 326.7 million (€65.6 million) in the first nine months of 2025, marking a 88% increase compared to the same period of last year.

Consolidated turnover for the first nine months of 2025 reached RON 322 million (€64.67 million), up 96% year-on-year.

Despite this revenue growth, the consolidated net profit reached RON 2.7 million (€ 0.5 million), representing a 69% decrease compared to the first nine months of 2024.

This result is attributed to the seasonal nature of the company's activity, as most cash inflows and project deliveries are scheduled for the end of the year.

Post-reporting, Simtel secured a RON 168.9 million (€33.9 million) contract (excluding VAT) with Energy Capital Group for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The company also signed a € 19.1 million contract (excluding VAT) with Verbund Wind Power Romania for the design, construction, and commissioning of a 60.2 MWp photovoltaic park.

This commercial activity has resulted in signed contracts worth approximately RON 670 million (€ 134.6 million) (excluding VAT) since July.

The company maintains a positive outlook on its 2025 turnover but anticipates a slight downward adjustment of its operating margin by 1–2 percentage points due to the intensification of competition and the faster delivery of large-scale projects with margins below the portfolio average.
