Visual Fan enters energy storage market with Solbess stake

Business Forum
Visual Fan has entered the shareholding of Solbess, a company active in electricity production.

This decision represents a strategic step in Visual Fan's investment portfolio diversification process and marks the company's expansion into a sector with major relevance for the economy in the coming years: energy.

Through this investment, Visual Fan aims to participate in the development of projects with medium and long-term growth potential, in a context where the need for energy storage, balancing and consumption efficiency capacities is becoming increasingly important for energy system stability.

Solbess's first project consists of developing an electricity storage park in Hărman, Brașov county. The project is planned with a storage capacity of 30 MWh and an installed power of 7 MW, being intended to support the balancing and stabilisation of the energy system.

"Entering Solbess's shareholding is an important step in our development strategy. We look carefully at industries that can generate long-term value, and energy is one of the directions with the greatest potential," said Florentin-Lucian Peticilă, Sole Administrator of Visual Fan, in a BVB statement. The company will continue to evaluate investment opportunities in areas with high development potential and will inform the market about relevant stages of the Solbess project.
