Alesonor selects contractor for second phase of resi project near Bucharest

Residential developer Alesonor has appointed Strabag Romania as general contractor for the construction of Phase II of the Amber Forest suburb in Tunari, Ilfov County.

Strabag Romania will build a residential area comprising 172 housing units, including 91 villas and 81 apartments with parking, totalling over 23,000 sqm of built-up area. Site organisation is scheduled to begin in February, with construction works starting immediately after. 

"Amber Forest is a complex development, requiring standards and coordination at every stage. Our collaboration with Strabag Romania on part of Phase II reflects a commitment to construction quality and to partnering with companies that understand the complexity of building a community," said Leonidas Anastasopoulos, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Alesonor.

Amber Forest offers over 20 villa types starting from three rooms and more than 14 types of studios and apartments. To date, 270 units have been delivered out of 580 sold from 690 available. The development spans 31 hectares with only 15% built-up area and has achieved Platinum Leed v4.1 for Communities certification, becoming the first residential project in Europe to reach this standard.

Alesonor starts €8 million sports investment in resi complex near Bucharest

Alesonor has partnered with Pescariu Sports&Spa to create a 12,000 sqm sports and leisure complex within the Amber Forest suburb, with a planned investment of €8 million. The project will feature outdoor tennis and padel courts, two leisure pools, and a 2,200 sqm central building including a semi-Olympic swimming pool, spa, and fitness club.
